TDK Corporation introduces PhaseCap^® Energy Plus, two new series of EPCOS PFC capacitors. The B25674C* series is gas-impregnated and covers a voltage range from 230 V AC to 690 V AC and offers compensation ratings from 5 kvar to 33.1 kvar, depending on the type. 

TDK Corporation presents DeltaCap™ X Black Premium – a new series of EPCOS MKD capacitors for power factor correction (PFC). With rated voltages of between 440 V AC and 850 V AC, the capacitors with an internal delta connection are designed for power factor correction and filtering of harmonics at the low-voltage level. 

TDK Corporation presents EPCOS PQvar™, a modular static var generator for active stepless power factor correction and load balancing in industrial grids and large commercial buildings. With a fast response time of less than 15 ms and a dynamic reaction time of 50 µs, PQvar offers significantly faster compensation than conventional systems. 

TDK Corporation presents the new EPCOS VIP-3-TP control unit, which facilitates the intelligent coupling of three reactive power compensation systems.

TDK Corporation presents EPCOS PhaseCap^® Energy – two new series of high power capacitors for power factor correction. These components are available with gas or resin-filled housings.

TDK Corporation presents the new EPCOS TSM-LC-N690 thyristor module for power factor correction (PFC) with an expanded operating voltage range up to 690 V AC. The module performs two-phase switching of the capacitors, so that a neutral conductor is not needed.

TDK Corporation presents two new series of leaded MLCCs, which are halogen-free according to IEC 61249-2-21 and expand the company’s lineup of products that offer minimal impact to the environment over the entire life cycle.

TDK Corporation presents the new EPCOS PQSine™ series of active harmonic filters that optimize power quality. The modular filter systems are designed for 3-phase networks with and without neutral conductors at voltages from 200 V AC to 480 V AC and 50/60 Hz.

TDK Corporation has extended its BR7000 series of EPCOS power factor controllers with two new types. The BR7000-I-TH controller offers 12 relay outputs for capacitor contactors and 12 transistor outputs for thyristor modules. The BR7000-I-TH/S485 features an additional RS485 bus interface that allows up to another 32 EPCOS TSM-LC-S thyristor modules to be controlled.

TDK Corporation presents the new EPCOS TSM-LC-S thyristor module for dynamic power factor correction (PFC). It is designed for voltages of 200 V AC to 440 V AC (50/60 Hz) and is suitable for compensating reactive powers of up to 55 kvar.
