TDK Corporation launches the ADL8030VA, a high-performance inductor designed specifically for power-over-coaxial (PoC) applications. Due to its high impedance over a wide frequency range, this component streamlines the PoC filter design by requiring only one single component instead of the conventional approach with two or more inductors.

TDK Corporation has expanded its YFF series of 3-terminal filters for automotive applications to include higher voltages up to 35 V and higher capacitances up to 4.7 µF. Such components are used to suppress voltage variation and high-frequency noise, which can cause system malfunctions. Mass production of the product series began in June 2025.

TDK Corporation announces the expansion of the MUQ0201022HA series* of high-frequency inductors. The 0201 size (0.25 x 0.125 x 0.2 mm; L x W x T) are the smallest inductors of their kind in the industry with the same electrical characteristics as the existing MHQ0402PSA series, which is one size larger at 0402 (0.4 x 0.2 mm; L x W). 

TDK Corporation has expanded its MPZ1608-PH series of large-current multilayer chip beads for automotive and commercial power supply lines (1.6 x 0.8 x 0.6 mm – L x W x H). Mass production of the product series began in May 2025.

TDK Corporation has announced the introduction of its new PLEA85 series of high-efficiency power inductors developed for battery-powered wearables and other devices, improving operating times.

TDK Corporation has expanded its family of flat wire inductors with the high-performance EPCOS ERUC23 coupled inductor series (B82559S*). In such components, two windings share a single magnetic core. The new series comprises six types covering a coupled inductance range from 1.4 µH to 4.1 µH and saturation currents from 50 A to 97 A.

TDK Corporation presents the B82559A*A033 series of new shielded EPCOS ERU33 high-current chokes for through-hole mounting. Designed for very high saturation currents from 32 A to 83 A at 100 °C, the six new types cover a range of inductance values from 3.2 µH to 10 µH.

TDK Corporation has announced the introduction of its new VLS5030EX-D type power inductor (5.3 x 5.0 x 3.0 mm (L x W x H)) as part of the VLS-EX-D Series of wound ferrite power inductors automotive power circuits. These compact components provide excellent DC superposition characteristics with an assured performance at temperatures of up to 150 °C.

TDK Corporation has announced the introduction of the new MLJ1608WG Series of multilayer inductors. These compact components are targeted at use in automotive Power over Coax (PoC) implementations. Mass production began in August 2022. The MLJ1608WG Series inductors achieve a maximum impedance of 2500 Ω. They also retain impedance levels of 1000 Ω over a 300 MHz to 2 GHz frequency range.

TDK Corporation presents the EPCOS E13EMHV series of compact SMT transformers with high dielectric strength for a wide range of DC-DC converter topologies. The isolation distances comply with IEC 60664-1, 61558-2-16 standard, achieving a high working voltage of 1000 V DC.

TDK Corporation presents the CLT32 series power inductors with extremely compact dimensions and excellent electrical values thanks to their new design. The nine types cover an inductance range of 17 nH to 440 nH and are designed for 13.5 A to 60 A saturation currents.

TDK Corporation has developed the new TFM201208BLE series of inductors optimized for spaceconstrained smartphone power circuits. These are available in 0.24, 0.33 and 0.47 μH versions. Mass production will begin in June 2022. Each supplied in a 2.0 (L) x 1.2 (W) x 0.8 mm (H) form factor, the inductors in this latest TDK series feature significantly better electrical properties than the previous TFM201208BLD products - in terms of their current and resistance levels.

TDK Corporation introduces the new PCM120T series of shielded SMT power inductors, optimized for high saturation currents and low DC resistances. The PCM120T product family includes 14 inductance values between 0.4 μH and 10 μH, whereby saturation currents of up to 80 A are reached depending on the L value.
