Besides polypropylene capacitors, TDK also offers components with polyethylene terephthalate (PET) dielectric. These feature small dimensions, operating temperatures up to +125 °C, and very good self-healing properties. Stacked or wound active element designs offer advantages in high pulse handling applications such as ignition devices as well as for automotive and consumer applications.
