TDK Corporation presents a series of robust EPCOS MKP film capacitors (B3275*) that are optimized for use with AC voltages with high ripple currents. The new types are available for rated voltages of 250 V_RMS, 275 V_RMS and 310 V_RMS and cover a capacitance range from 1 µF to 70 µF. 

TDK Corporation presents leaded EPCOS metal oxide disk varistors, which have now been approved for an increased operating temperature of 105 °C (previously 85 °C). The reason for this is the recertification of the B722* series of varistors in accordance with UL 1449, 4th Edition, and IEC 61051. 

TDK Corporation has extended its range of EPCOS PTC-based inrush current limiters. TDK Corporation presents a new series of EPCOS MKP (metallized polypropylene) film capacitors for DC link and DC filter applications. The outstanding feature of these components is their high permissible operating temperature of 125 °C.

TDK Corporation presents three new series of EPCOS aluminum electrolytic capacitors. The B43743*/B43763* series of screw terminal capacitors features a 40 percent higher ripple current capability than the previous series of the same size.

TDK Corporation presents the new T series of EPCOS ThermoFuse™ varistors for intrinsically safe overvoltage protection. These components are based on disk varistors with diameters of 14 mm (T14 series) and 20 mm (T20 series) that are connected in series with a thermally coupled fuse.

Reliable protection against overvoltage is essential. Using a new ceramic material, TDK has developed a high-surge series of multilayer varistors that combine compact dimensions with excellent protection properties.

TDK Corporation presents a new series of EPCOS SMD push-pull transformers featuring compact dimensions of just 9 mm x 8 mm x 5.7 mm. The series comprises five types with different transformation ratios ranging between 1:1 and 1:3.8.

TDK Corporation has extended its range of EPCOS frame core power line chokes with the B82733V* series in a vertical design. The new series complements the existing horizontally designed B82733F* series. The vertical design is particularly advantageous when there is limited space on the printed circuit board.

TDK Corporation presents two new series of EPCOS MMKP capacitors, which employ a film that is metallized on both sides. The new capacitors offer particularly high pulse strength as well as a high current capability.

X2 capacitors are used not only for EMI suppression. Thanks to their robustness and resistance to humidity and high temperatures, they are also suitable for voltage dividers in capacitive power supplies – for example, those of smart meters that are mounted outside buildings.

The new EPCOS N59 ferrite material is particularly suitable for power supplies and inverters whose design is based on GaN semiconductors with very high switching frequencies. Optimum power is reached at frequency of 2 MHz.
