TDK Corporation launches the EPCOS SurfIND series, a new range of current-compensated ring core double chokes for high currents and surface mounting (ordering code: B82725S2*A/B). With SurfIND, customers who prefer reflow soldering (e.g. sandwich packages in telecom equipment, industrial drives, etc.) but need high-current common-mode chokes (usually large and heavy) can now get an SMD solution. 

TDK Corporation expanded the EPCOS ERU33 high-current chokes with the even higher-current ERU33M using a new core material. As power densities and currents in automotive and industrial applications continue to increase, this new series meets these requirements by using an alloy powder core material that exhibits a softer saturation characteristic than the core material used previously.

TDK Corporation introduces with its B84143C*S250/S251 series the new EPCOS 3-line EMC filters for converter applications with high currents. Depending on type, they are designed for rated voltages of 305/530 V AC and 440/760 V AC (50/60 Hz) at rated currents of 160 A to 2500 A.

TDK Corporation presents the B82559A*A033 series of new shielded EPCOS ERU33 high-current chokes for through-hole mounting. Designed for very high saturation currents from 32 A to 83 A at 100 °C, the six new types cover a range of inductance values from 3.2 µH to 10 µH.

TDK Corporation has developed a series of inductors for Industrial Single Pair Ethernet (SPE) based on the IEEE 802.3cg standard for 10BASE-T1L. The suppression of asymmetrical interference is particularly important to achieve interference-free data traffic. The new RCM70CGI-471 common-mode choke, which has an inductance value of 470 µH and is designed for a maximum current of 700 mA at a voltage of 80 V, is suitable for this purpose.

TDK Corporation presents three new B8272* series of compact EPCOS SMT common-mode chokes specially developed for low-voltage applications. They sustain voltages of up to 48 V AC (50/60 Hz) and 80 V DC, and continuous currents between 1.8 A and 19 A at an ambient temperature of 40 °C.

TDK Corporation announces the release of its newly developed AVRF041A150MT242 and AVRF061D2R4ST532 notch filters with ESD protection function. Volume production of these devices will begin in March 2022.

TDK Corporation has developed the KCZ1210DH series common-mode filters for automotive applications. This series provides a noise control function for high-speed differential transmission signal lines for automobiles and is available in 1210 case size  (1.25 x 1.0 x 0.5 mm).
