NTC (Negative Temperature Coefficient) thermistors are thermally sensitive resistors whose resistance decreases when the temperature increases.

Their resistance changes between 2% and 6% per Kelvin temperature change, which is significantly more than the resistance of metallic conductors or silicon-based temperature sensors.

Thanks to their excellent long-term stability, sensitivity, and accuracy, NTC thermistors are the preferred solution for temperature measurement and compensation in automotive, commercial, and industrial applications.
