Certification according to TISAX

The first sites of the TDK Electronics Group are certified according to the automotive industry's TISAX^® test seal. This proves that the industry's special requirements for IT and cyber security are met. TISAX stands for Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange.

“Companies in the automotive industry in particular are strongly focused on IT and cyber security. This affects both manufacturers as well as their trade and service partners,” says Thomas Zeulner, Information Security Officer at TDK Electronics. “With this certification, our customers can be assured that we treat their data securely, with integrity and trustworthy according to objective criteria.”

TISAX was initiated by the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) with the aim of establishing uniform standards for information security throughout the industry and thus replacing manufacturer-specific certifications, which involve an enormous amount of multiple work for suppliers, integrators and consultants. In addition, the exchange of information between all stakeholders is to be intensified in order to achieve a higher level of security.
