SPICE-Library for ANSYS Designer
for TDK Electronics AG : PCM.lib
Version 1.01
assembled on (Wed May 26 10:07:53 CEST 2021)
This SPICE library contains all models for
Power Cube Metal Inductors
Cube-shape package 15 x 14 mm (incl. terminals)
Current capability up to 80A
Soft saturation
Operating temperature -55 ... +165°C
These linear models are suited for DC, AC and Transient-
simulations. Accurate results can be expected below
the first resonant frequency. Using these models
outside its specification can lead to false results.
The models describe the behaviour of typical
elements. Please keep in mind, that real components
can vary in the range given in the datasheets.

Installation of PCM Model Library
===============================================================
The model library of PCM (Power Cube Metal Inductors) for the
circuit design program ANSYS Electronics Desktop Circuit
Simulator comprises the following 5 files:
PCM.lib ASCII data file:
This file respresents the actual library and
contains the data required for simulation.
PCM_Nexxim.inc
ASCII data file:
This file respresents the actual library and
contains the data required for simulation with
Nexxim.
PCM.aclb Components file:
This file represents the terminal information
and data about the single Components of the
library
PCM.aflb Footprint data file:
This file contains the exact footprint for the
elements in the library
PCM.aslb Symbol data file:
This file contains the graphics information
required by the graphic user interface
To install the library you must extract the a.m. files into
the /userlib directory of your ANSYS Electronics Desktop
Installation. (They will be then situated in
/userlib/TDK/PCM. Don't use another directory!)
ANSYS Electronics Desktop:
1) Copy or extract the files in the a.m. directory
2) Start ANSYS Electronics Desktop
3a) Project -> Insert Circuit Design
4) Tools -> Configure Libraries
5) Mark: User Libraries
Components
Available Libraries: TDK-Folder
>>
6) Repeat for Footprints und Symbols
7) Check "Save as Default" and confirm with "OK"
8) The Elements are now prepared for use. Your find them in
the "Project Manager" -> "Components" -> "User Libraries"
Nexxim:
Tools -> Options -> General Options -> Component Chooser
Options -> check "Show all Components"
3b) Project -> Insert Nexxim Circuit Design
4) Tools -> Configure Libraries
5) Mark: User Libraries

6) Repeat for Footprints und Symbols
7) Check "Save as Default" and confirm with "OK"
8) The Elements are now prepared for use. Your find them in
the "Project Manager" -> "Components" -> "User Libraries"
