Customer Developer (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

Be responsible for developing research and testing strategies for founder teams, as well as for research documentation and organization.
Conduct interviews using relevant market research tactics and methods to uncover user problems, and develop simulations to validate or refute hypotheses.
Analyze and synthesize research findings, translating insights into actionable recommendations for founder and product teams.
Coach teams and conduct effective market research.
Be involved in evaluating research results and communicating key insights to stakeholders.
Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and business stakeholders throughout the product development process.
Be responsible for writing interview scripts aligned with the testing strategy.
Be actively involved in creating storyboards and initial drafts with designers.
Advocate for a user-centric approach and ensure customer perspectives are integrated into all stages of incubation.
Facilitate workshops or sessions to share research insights and foster empathy for users within teams.

Your qualification

You have successfully completed studies in human-computer interaction, anthropology, (cognitive) psychology, behavioral sciences, or a comparable field.
You have at least three years of experience in a similar position.
You already have experience with a variety of qualitative research methods.
You have practical experience in applying open-ended customer research methods in the conception, validation, and development of a product.
You enjoy working in a multidisciplinary team.
You have already demonstrated your convincing written and verbal communication skills.
You are confident in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
Ideally, you have already gained experience in a start-up environment
