Awards from automotive customers for excellent cooperation and on-time delivery

In China, Sales received two awards from automotive suppliers. TDK Sales South China won the “Excellent Business Cooperation Award” from Desay SV, a manufacturer of electronics, antenna, and software solutions. TDK Sales North China received the “Quality Delivery Excellence Award” from the Japanese-Chinese joint venture TFDA (TianJin Fawer Denso Air-Conditioner), that produces air conditioning systems.

Desay SV the award to Makoto Kondo (Senior Vice President TDK Greater China Sales Division and Block General Manager TDK South China) and Kelby Yang (Sales Director TDK South China Automotive Team) at its partner conference. Desay SV recognized TDK's delivery performance for inductors manufactured at the Xiamen site in China. “This award is not only a confirmation of TDK's performance to date, but also an expectation for future cooperation,” said Kondo. He pointed out that TDK had to manage supply shortages due to high demand for xEV and ADAS in the Chinese market. Thanks to close cooperation between the Business Group and Sales, it was possible to increase capacity. “I am very happy that we are now able to meet the customer's expectations and have received this award today,” Kondo continued.

The Denso joint venture TFDA (TianJin Fawer Denso Air-Conditioner) presented TDK Sales North China with the Quality Delivery Excellence Award. Sayou Tomoki, Director of TDK ECBC Sales Group North China, accepted the award on behalf of TDK.

TFDA manufactures air conditioning systems for motor vehicles and sources temperature sensors for this purpose from its site in Batam, Indonesia. This is the second award TFDA has given to TDK Sales North China, following the “Best Supplier” award in 2020.
