Awards for best distribution partners in Greater China

TDK has once again honored its best distribution partners in Greater China. The winners in the Senten Manten category are Shenzhen Welldone Electronics and Shenzhen Easyland Electronics. Awards for the Best Achievement went to Xiamen Holder Electronics and Nanjing Sunlord Electronics. Beijing Foxtar Electronic and Xiamen Xianggao Electronics were recognized for the Biggest Growth.

More than 100 representatives from around 30 distributors took part in the three-day meeting, which aims to further strengthen the relationship between TDK and the distributors and help to further expand the business, says Albert Hsieh, Head of the Greater China Distribution Group. Among other things, the distributors received information on the business situation and distribution strategy. Another important topic was the integration of TDK and TDK Electronics products under the umbrella of TDK United, Hsieh added. „We are already making very good progress here!“

Highly competitive market

Greater China was once again the most important market in TDK's distribution business last year. This region accounted for almost 50 percent of total distribution sales. TDK has long-standing partnerships with almost all distributors in the Greater China market.

In order to further expand the distribution business in Greater China, Hsieh wants to further strengthen contacts with distributors. “Greater China is a highly competitive market, with not only other major international groups playing a part, but also local Chinese manufacturers,” says Hsieh. Close cooperation with distributors is important for future success, as is early involvement in the customer's design-in process.
 

The Greater China Distribution Conference took place in Nanjing this year. The distributor Sunlord Electronics has its Headquarters in the megacity on the Yangtze River.
