Best cooperation in the face of many challenges

The French electrical engineering group Schneider Electric has honored TDK Electronics with the Best Collaboration Award. The award recognizes the importance of TDK Electronics as one of the company's ten most important suppliers out of around 15,000, and at the same time the only manufacturer of passive components among these ten main suppliers. The award was presented in Hong Kong at Schneider Electric's Supplier Day 2023, which was attended by more than 100 suppliers.

The award is considered a special distinction and, unlike other awards such as for best quality or best logistics, is given for superior performance in several disciplines. “Particularly remarkable is the great support provided by Aline Vérité, who supports Schneider Electric as Strategic Account Officer from our sales office near Paris,” says Ralph Bronold, General Manager GSD I&HA, who accepted the award at Supplier Day in Hong Kong. The success was also due to the close cooperation between management, local sales and customer service, and the various production sites that supply Schneider Electric worldwide, as well as quick solutions in the case of supply shortages and the identification of new business opportunities

Schneider Electric has been one of TDK Electronics' top customers for many years in the field of industrial applications such as motor drives or uninterruptible power supplies. For these applications, TDK Electronics supplies aluminum electrolytic and film capacitors as well as various protective components such as varistors and arresters to the customer's sites in India, China, ASEAN, Europe and the USA.

“The past year was characterized by many challenges for the entire industry,” says Josef Vissing, President of TDK Europe. “Fast changing market demand, supply chain issues and increasing global market tensions are just a few of them. The award shows that we successfully supported Schneider Electric during this difficult phase.”
