TDK Europe is the European Sales Company of the TDK Group for electronic components, modules and systems marketed under the TDK product brand.

TDK Europe is headquartered in Munich, Germany, employs around 390 people and has a close-knit distribution network of 17 branches in Europe. This means that TDK Europe is close to its customers and ideally prepared to work with them to implement the solutions that are right for them.

Key Account Manager Regional Sales Netherlands (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

  • be responsible as an Outside Sales Engineer located in the Netherlands with the opportunity to work in the Duesseldorf office in Germany.
  • take over the sales responsibility in the Netherlands to support the existing customer base and create new business opportunities with potential direct customers and business partners.
  • be the interface to the local Dutch sales companies Texim and VanDelden.
  • actively coordinate all sales relevant business tasks for assigned customers inside TDK and outside to strengthen the business relation and development.
  • use your self-motivated strategic customer approach and the ability to proceed technical design measures within TDK internal matrix partners to identify early trends and business potential.
  • independently lead and manage all customer relations and the price negotiation together with product marketing and other internal partners.

Your qualification

  • you have a Bachelor's degree in the field of electronics, physics engineering or have completed a similar education, e.g. HBO or MBO level, additional knowledge of business economics is appreciated.
  • you have at least 5 years of professional experience in sales, product marketing or development of electronic components.
  • you possess a strong sales attitude and capabilities as well as market knowledge about customers and applications in the area of automotive, industry or medical devices.
  • your strengths include a good understanding of technical electronic knowledge and engineering design processes and applications.
  • you demonstrate an independent working approach in your daily work and set a strong focus on business creation and development combined with a strong target orientation.
  • you have excellent communication skills in Dutch or Flemish, German and English language.
  • you display an open attitude as well as self-confidence and proven negotiation skills.
  • you have a willingness to travel within Europe.
