Outstanding performance: TDK presents Distribution Awards in Europe

TDK Corporation honored its best distributors in Europe for their outstanding performance in the distribution of TDK and EPCOS components. The TDK Distribution Award 2013 in gold went to Anglia Components and RS Components won the silver award. Four distribution partners received the bronze trophy: Avnet Abacus, the Elgerta Group, Sorelec, and TTI Europe.

The awards are based on TDK’s Senten Manten distributor performance evaluation program. The Japanese term, Senten Manten, stands for the perfect result, which is reached with 1000 points. The scoring for the award is based on the distributors’ performance in four categories: business performance, inventory management, contractual terms, and operational excellence.

“I am very pleased that we are able to present six Distribution Awards in Europe in 2013. This really shows how dedicated our distributors are when it comes to the distribution of TDK and EPCOS products,” said Dietmar Jaeger, TDK Vice President of Sales Distribution, at the awards ceremony in Munich. “Our annual performance evaluation helps us to optimize our distributors’ linecards and support and thus serve our customers even better and faster.”
