The advanced series configuration features a very short lead length to minimize parasitic inductance and optimize efficiency. Because of the extremely low parasitic inductance snubbers can be avoided.Its ability to operate at higher temperatures means ModCap delivers higher performance in demanding conditions or needs less cooling. This advantage together with the ModCap long lifetime allows designers to design an extremely compact solution.
Experience our ModCap series with SPICE simulation. Additionally, the new CapThermal tool – which will be available soon – lets you perform thermal hotspot and temperature mapping on your own. If you want to get advanced electromagnetic modeling, all tailored to your specific operating conditions, we can do it upon request.
