Best Supply Chain Support Award from Godrej

Godrej Consumer Products Ltd., India’s leading manufacturer of household insecticide products, presented TDK with the Best Supply Chain Support Award for the long-term close cooperation of both companies and especially for the reliable and demand-oriented supply of EPCOS PTC heating elements. With the award Godrej recognized the excellent communication with the factory and sales engineers of EPCOS India, a TDK Group Company. In April Godrej signed a further order for 200 million PTC heating elements.

The PTC heating elements are used in Godrej Good Knight brand of mosquito repellers. These small electronic devices with a liquid container are plugged into a regular socket. The ceramic PTC elements heat the liquid repellent, causing it to evaporate and dissipate throughout the room. These heating elements, which are manufactured at Šumperk in the Czech Republic, are self-regulating, meaning that they do not constitute a fire risk when the repellent runs dry.
