Outstanding performance: TDK honors its distribution partners in Europe
- Gold for Mouser Electronics Europe, TTI Europe and EPi-Components
- Silver for Anglia Components, Arrow Electronics Europe and Digi-Key Electronics Europe
- Bronze for Farnell element14 Europe
TDK Europe has once again presented awards to its best distribution partners for TDK and EPCOS components. The TDK Distribution Award 2016 was presented in the three categories: high-service distribution, international volume distribution and local distribution.
Mouser Electronics Europe achieved the highest score and was awarded gold in the high-service distribution category. “The decisive factor was Mouser's strong growth and excellent inventory,” says Dietmar Jaeger, head of the TDK's distribution business in Europe and Vice President of the Global Sales Distribution. Digi-Key Electronics Europe won silver in the High-Service Distributors category, while Farnell element14 Europe was awarded bronze.
In the international volume distribution category, a gold award went to TTI Europe and silver to Arrow Electronics Europe. “I am pleased that we were able to make two awards in this category this year,” says Jaeger. Arrow had been able to improve its business performance.
In the local distribution category, gold was awarded to Austria-based EPi-Components and silver went to Anglia Components, which is located in the UK.
This annual assessment of distribution partners is based on TDK's Senten Manten program. This Japanese term stands for the perfect result that can be achieved with 1000 points. The award recognizes the distributors' performance and collaboration with TDK in four categories: business performance, inventory management, contractual terms and operational excellence. To achieve an award, distributors must have a score at least 600.
