DC Link and Battery Charge/Discharge

For the DC link of the frequency converter in UPS systems TDK offers a wide selection of capacitors and inductors, suitable for all conceivable combinations of frequency, ripple current and temperature. The batteries are charged and discharged with sometimes very high currents. To prevent damage to the system due to overload, the batteries must be safely disconnected via high-current contactors.
