MEMS Design Engineer (m/f/d)

In your new role you will ...

  • work on detailed mechanical and acoustical designs of sensors and modules
  • design and develop new MEMS acoustic sensors including test structures
  • develop finite element models for extraction of key microphone parameters
  • verify new MEMS-designs
  • contribute to development of roadmaps and future technology
  • assist with failure analysis and de-bugging of MEMS designs

As a MEMS Design Engineer you will be member of the Microphone MEMS design and validation team developing new MEMS sensors for microphones. You will support new product development through design and modelling, device characterization, debug activities and patent disclosures. The position will require working with multiple teams including Integration, CMOS design, Foundry and Assembly.

You will succeed in the role because ...

  • you have a Master degree (or equivalent) or PhD in the field of Mechanical / Acoustical / Electrical Engineering / Physics or equivalent
  • you are highly motivated with a “get things done” mentality
  • you have excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • you like to work in multicultural teams located in different locations and time zones
  • you have work experience with analytical and numerical analysis using Matlab/ Simulink
  • you have work or research experience in MEMS design and validation
  • you have multiphysics finite element modelling using Comsol, ANSYS or CoventorWare
